Before unveiling secret #2 of the physically elite I want to point out where these secrets came from.  I went back through all of my client files over the last 15 years and identified the differences between those who got results and kept improving and those who didn’t follow through.   After countless hours of researching, I discovered the 7 steps or “secrets” of the physically elite. The physically elite not only achieved body transformation but also kept improving even long after they no longer trained with me.

So what’s the second secret of the physically elite?

It’s simple.  It’s powerful.

The Second Secret of the Physically Elite is ….

They avoid processed foods most of the time and instead EAT FOODS CLOSEST TO THEIR NATURAL SOURCE.

They avoid foods that contain sugar, flour and trans-fats. For example, those who achieve their physical goals avoid fast food, sodas, breads, pastas, beer, liquor, wine, most of the time.  This also includes granola bars, cereals and other “healthy” food that is processed.

So how do you determine how good a food is for you?

The 5-Second Rule

Here’s how it works.  Choose a food, look at it, and then ask yourself “where does this come from?”

If it takes more than 5 seconds to figure out then it’s not good for you.

For example, a baked sweet potato comes from the earth; you clean it off, cook it and it’s ready to eat. It never goes through any machines and is in its natural state.  Sweet potato chips on the other hand are dug up, cleaned off, chopped up, dehydrated, baked in oil and have preservatives added to increase shelf life.

The better option is the baked sweet potato because it is closest to its natural state. At no point are chemicals like preservatives added or is the food processed. The more processed a food is the more nutrients that are stripped out of it.

When you eat foods that are processed like pretzels, potato chips, breads, pasta and fast foods the body does not receive enough nutrients so it’s turns up the brain chemicals that trigger hunger and cravings.

When you eat foods in their natural state like organic fruits, vegetables, free-range meats and wild caught seafood the body receives what it needs and turns off the neurotransmitters that make you overeat. These foods trigger the release of hormones that help make you leaner, more energized and have an even more positive outlook.

Eating Foods Closest to their Natural Source is the 2nd secret of the physically elite.

Next time, I will share with you the 3rd secret.

This secret takes away all of the confusion of eating to burn fat, build muscle and makes you feel AWESOME!

Of all the 7 secrets this one received the most comments. People were blown away by it!

Until next time my friend
