    Just today Billy, I had a client who has been sick for the past week without being able to go to work. She called me and asks me the same question, after a few days of rest, today “not a 100% as she said” she came in to work out, and ooh yeah light weight and 15 to 20 reps, she felt awesome afterwards…. My recommendation always is to replenish with lots of water after the workout. And Billy a good recipe for the flu is chicken soup throughout the day (Granma stile), that will replenish your body in many positive ways and make you feel better faster.

    Epsom salt is magic voodoo powder. I put 3lbs of it in the bath like Billy said and I went from looking like I just got in a serious car wreck ( Oh wait, I did!) to nearly bruise free overnight. Plus, I never slept better. Definitely recommend it.

  4. Steve! LOL!!! That’s funny! It’s true about the epsom salts. I don’t know who discovered them but they really work. Not only do they boost immune function, decrease pain and help you sleep better but they also help to detoxify the body via lymphatic drainage. Thanks for sharing Sarg! You’re the Man!

    Billy… I have known about Epsom slat for a long time via my grandmother. I used it years ago but got away from it but it can be a miracle treatment for a sore aching body. The news of draining the lymphatic system is news to me… you can never discredit these old remedies because they usually work!!!

  7. Billy great point! Momma was always right! Chicken soup made from actual chicken meat and bones (not any canned or boxed garbage) has great medicinal properties. It is packed with nutrients from the bones, gelatin from the ligaments and cartilage and antimicrobial properties in the fat. Drink up!
