What to eat: MANly Muffins

Yeah I know there is nothing manly about muffins but I had to name them something that sounded somewhat tough. GRRRRR!

These bad boys are great when you are on the go and taste AWESOME! And they are super easy to make.
Here’s how to do it:

MANly Muffins
(makes 4 muffins)

Ingredients:
4 egg whites
1 whole egg (cage free)
1/2 C. Unsweetened Organic Apple Sauce
1/2 C. Organic Oatmeal
1/2 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder ( I use Vanilla Post Training Protein because it is from Free Range cows and sweetened with Stevia rather than chemical sweeteners like aspartame)
2-3 tsps. Cinnamon
10 Drops Liquid Stevia
1/2 C. Blueberries

Step 1: Mix all ingredients in a blender.
Step 2: Blend it for 30 seconds or until smooth
Step 3: Place batter in muffin pans.
Step 4: Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes
Step 5: Let cool and then enjoy!

Our clients love these. They usually have them mid-afternoon or as a mid-morning meal. Since they contain no preservatives be sure to refrigerate them.
